The Vedic Patashaala is a residential establishment, registered with the Government of India, with 20-30 students aged between 6 and 18 receiving free tuition, meals and boarding as well as an opportunity to be directly involved in all temple activities and ceremonies, gaining invaluable practical experience. Established by Sri Geetharaman Gurukkal to preserve knowledge of the Vedas for future generations, students are guided both by dedicated teachers and Geetharaman Gurukkal himself. A well-rounded education is important and alongside their Vedic studies, scholars also learn a second language (usually English), Math and other subjects of their choosing.
